The College of the Americas (COLAM) of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) and the Inter-American Network on Electronic Government Training (RIF-GE) are pleased to invite to the course in Strategic Management of IT for the CIO of the Public Sector and Third Sector that starts on next October 21st, 2013.
This program, offered in a virtual mode, is developed from a set of issues that prioritize the areas of practice of the CIO (Chief Information Officer) and it aims to promote the learning and developing of abilities for leadership, management and strategic management of ICT in different areas of the public sector and institutions of the third sector related to CTI4D initiatives (ICT for Development), as well as organizations for cooperation, training and research on issues of public management.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (RedCLARA) and the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education/College of the Americas (IOHE/COLAM), the institutions members of the national networks connected to RedCLARA have a special rate of $ 1,125 USD, a 25 % discount on the value of the program, as well as facilities to defer payments.
This program has a duration of 210 hours of teaching over a period of 25 weeks (from October 21st, 2013 to May 31st, 2014), organized around two training courses:
• The CIO and ICT Project Management in the government
• The CIO and the Management of Interactions Based on ICT
