RAGIE and ARANDU demonstrated the power of advanced networks PDF Print E-mail

Guatemalan Advanced Network Research and Education (RAGIE) supported the Paraguayan ARANDU network, to offer a connection test at high speed during the execution of an important event, which brought together researchers, teachers and students from Universities and Research Centers American.

prueba-arandu011The thirty-sixth edition of the Latin American Informatics Conference (CLEI 2010) was the perfect setting for the academic community and researchers in the region proved the connection of advanced networking project in Paraguay, Arandu, supported by CLARA.

Arandu is working on a pilot basis from July 30, connecting to the following universities: Nacional de Asunción, Asunción Autonomous, Catholic, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, in addition to the National Council of Science and Technology and the Itaipu Technological Park Foundation.

At the headquarters of the Polytechnic Faculty of the National University of Asunción was presented its first high-speed connection, which was supported by RAGIE, Guatemalan network allowed to use the MCU of the UMG through RedCLARA.
