RUANA Academic Committee has arranged the national event "Difficulties, challenges and opportunities for collaborative research," which will be launch on Thursday 17 February at the Fundación Universitaria Luis Amigó.
 
The presentation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will be broadcast by Colombian NREN, RENATA. The national event will be held on Friday 27 May this year, but during the launch, the academic coordinator of RUTA, Nathalia Velez, provide all the information for groups to submit research papers.
 
The launch will include research conference from Alfredo Manuel Guiso Cotos and presentation of three experiences of local researchers on the subject.
 
The first experience will refer to the "Lessons learned in working collaboratively with other RENATA nodes" and will be in charge of investigating Sandra Arango from the research group E-Virtual University of Medellin. Arango Professor working on a project with universities in other RENATA nodes, whose main objective is the generation of Virtual Learning Objects.

The researcher José Edison Aedo from Arctic Research Group at the University of Antioquia, share another experience with the use of ICT to manage research projects, while the third experience that will expose the lessons learned in working collaboratively with the business component, by Jairo Miguel Vergara, Arkadius research group at the University of Medellin. Professor Jairo is recognized for its expertise in building companies from research results.
He will share lessons on the dynamics required by the joint company-university.
