All institutions interested in participating by videoconference are invited to be part of the technical tests that will be held on Tuesday 19 and Friday 22, July 2011 from 17:00 to 19:00 GMT, an essential requisite to join the next transmissions.

On 20 and 25 July 2011 will take place two informative videoconferences to alert researchers and research managers in Latin American countries about the collaborative opportunities included in the 2011 work programmes of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Commission to collaborate under the EU-LAC (European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean) Joint Initiative for Research and Innovation.

Requirements for participation:

1. Each institution wishing to participate in any of the meetings via videoconference, must be connected to the academic network (NREN) in the local country and this, must be connected with RedCLARA. (See the list of connected NRENs HERE)

2. Once verified the connection to the national academic network and RedCLARA, interested institutions to participate by videoconference must send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it expressing interest in participating and specifying:
- Full name, email and the belonging institution of the participants of the videoconference.
- InfoDay to participate (if only one, indicate whether it corresponds to the 20 or 25 of July or if there are intentions to be part of both. If you want to participate in both InfoDays it is indispensable to be part of the two test sessions).
- IP of the H.323 videoconferencing equipment from which will be established the connection.
- Full name, email and Skype user of the technical contact responsible for the videoconference room from where the participants will be connected.

3. Those wishing to be part in any of the InfoDays must participate in the test sessions established for each  day, which will be inform by RedCLARA through an e-mail communication.
