Good news for those working hard on proposals for this year's Open Repositories Conference in Edinburgh – the deadline for the submission of papers & workshops has been extended by 2 weeks until March 5th.
The conference that will be held at the University of Edinburgh, from Monday 9th to Friday 13th July, 2012, aims to bring those responsible for the development, implementation and management of digital repositories together with stakeholders to address theoretical, practical, and strategic issues: across the entire lifecycle of information, from the creation and management of digital content, to enabling use, re-use, and interconnection of information, and ensuring long-term preservation and archiving.
