 In the context of the Ministerial Conference foregoing to the Summit of Heads of State and Government EULAC (to be held on May 18 in Madrid) and with the presence of the directors of all networks members of the project, on May 14th will take place the official launch of ALICE2 (Latin America Interconnected with Europe, in Spanish) and the second version of RedCLARA. |

The EuropeAid office of the European Commission has launched the second call of the ALFA III Programme. The call will be open until 25th June 2010. 
From this new issue we highlight: Proposals will be accepted until April 9th: COMCLARA2010 Programme; The CLARA Compendium 2009 is now available; ALICE2 Case Studies: Two new scientific and technological achievements; RAICES shows a new face; GridTalk's GridBriefings available in Spanish!; RENATA over the 100 bareer; and Peruvian distance education initiative receives Global Junior Challenge award. The call includes the presentation of technical papers focused on case studies and practical workshops proposal, including the component of innovation and impact generated. CLARA through the ALICE2 project, offers scholarships for researchers members of RedCLARA partners that present papers and that result accepted in the call.
