This publication, produced with funding of the @ LICE2 Programme of the European Commission, represents the status of eleven of the thirteen networks connected to RedCLARA until the first week of November 2009. In commemoration of the birth of Christ, on December 25th, and in celebration of the arrival of 2010, ALICE2 makes available to all members a new allusive screen saver that brings the excitement, joy and good wishes with which the whole world celebrates these days.

The new material is part of the disseminating work of the project, is available in GIF and JPG format in sizes ranging from 800 x 600 1024 x 768 and can be downloaded from the 'Visibility' section.

With the participation of nearly 200 delegates from the research and education networks in Europe, North and South American, The Caribbean, Africa and the Asia-Pacific, and the apparent complacency and European Commission's commitment to the future development of GÉANT, on December 1st and 2nd was held the event to mark the start of the third phase of pan-European network.
