The Brazilian National Network of Education and Research (RNP) will inaugurate on Friday (12/14), five centers that will be connected to the Telemedicine University Network (RUTE). The ceremony will be held at 9am (10am in Brasilia) at the Cardiac Emergency Center of Pernambuco Prof. Luiz Tavares (PROCAPE) in Recife, and will be transmitted by videoconference to the other centers that will be inaugurated: University Hospital Oswaldo Cruz (HUOC) University of Pernambuco and the Institute of Integrative Medicine Professor Fernando Figueira (IMIP), also in Recife; the General Hospital Roberto Santos in Salvador, and the Clinical Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, belonging to the Universidad Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). In the ceremony will participate local authorities and the head of the Secretary for the Management of Work and Education in Health, of the Ministry of Health, Mozart Sales.

Potenciar los estudios realizados por integrantes de Comunidad Achalai, conformada por investigadores de Bolivia, Colombia, México, Ecuador, Perú, España, Francia y Chile, además de difundir los resultados obtenidos con los profesores y estudiantes de carreras afines del plantel estatal, fueron los principales objetivos del Seminario Internacional de Etnomusicología Andina ''Instrumentos Prehispánicos'', efectuado en la Universidad de La Serena en el marco disciplinario de la etnomusicología, arqueomusicología y física-acústica en torno a instrumentos aerófonos de culturas prehispánicas.

El pasado 5 de diciembre de 2012 en el Segundo Día Virtual de e-Cultura el Líder de la Comunidad de ARCU-RED, Fabián Leotteau de Colombia junto con Ivani Santana de Brasil y Saúl Juarez de México, lideraron la propuesta "Viajes ideoestéticos en E-arte en las redes avanzadas: Plan Colaborativo para desarrollar proyectos en e-arte y e-cultura en las áreas de Educación, Investigación y Difusión en las RNIE en Latinoamérica y el Caribe", con el objetivo de trabajar desde los distintos países que pertenecen a RedCLARA con el fin de diseñar y ejecutar proyectos colaborativos en las redes avanzadas.

On December 5th, 2012, seven outstanding representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Spain gathered virtually to share their experiences in the field of culture and art.

The national network of Brazil, RNP, launched on December 3rd a discussion forum and a blog to increase the interaction between the customers and users of the services offered by RNP. Both can be accessed on the Services page of the Website of RNP.
