Celebrating its 7th edition, the International Day of Computer Security (DISI) is sponsored by the National Network of Education and Research (RNP) from Brazil, through its Center for Response to Security Incident (CAIS). Held since 2005, the DISI is an annual event directed to computer users in order to promote good practices related to information security. This year, the DISI is entitled "Data Privacy: what you share?” In 2012, the DISI will be held on August 29th, in Sao Paulo (SP), in the Novotel Jaraguá Hotel. The public expected is 200 participants, besides the people who will attend the lectures through the Internet (there were over 10,000 virtual attendants during the event in 2011).
