The project “Regional Strategy and Interoperability and Management Framework for a Latin American Federated Network of Institutional Scientific Documentation Repositories”, aims to contribute to share and give visibility to the scientific production in the institutions of higher education and scientific research.

As part of this project, in its III Component: Development and implementation of a pilot, RedCLARA and its partners seek to create an information system that integrates national systems of services to increase the visibility of the academic and scientific production in Latin America.

The following call is part of this component of the project:

1. Consulting for the development and implementation of solutions Pilot of the III Component | Developer Profile for the adjustment and improvement of public Website of   metadata of LA Referencia (2-III)

The project requires to hire a consultant for tasks of web software development for public access for metadata consultation of the digital objects of the national networks of the countries members of LA Referencia. The Web interface should provide common consultation services, filter, and sucription to scheduled visits, as well as other value-added services (always directed to end users). These tasks will be developed and adapted based on pre-existing solutions for the development of new generation catalogs (OPAC 2.0).

The selected consultant should have studies in Engineering or a degree in related areas: systems engineering, computer engineering oriented to software development.
