EELA-2 will carry out important events in Panama Print

In September there will be a tutorial and a workshop at the Technological University of Panama.

With the aim of raising awareness of the capacity offered by the grid infrastructure of EELA-2, there will be a tutorial project from September 14 to September 17 in Panama City. The course, which registration closes September 4 and is free charge, will be divided into two phases: the first will be dedicated to the use of gLite middleware, while the second part will cover the topic of installation, configuration and maintenance of the gLite grid.
The event, which is geared specifically to Panamanian participants, is organized by Gilda t-infrastructure, a grid infrastructure dedicated to gLite middleware training and used in almost all projects related to EGEE.
After the tutorial, a workshop will be held on September 18. The objective it will be to open the door to the exchange between members of the community of Grid Panama and exhibit the work of EELA-2, their goals, needs and ways which can establish collaboration.
