The project Latin America Interconnected with Europe (ALICE2) provides support to researchers of the institutions connected to National Research and Education Networks (NREN) partners to CLARA (Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks), willing to become research communities using telecommunications and computing resources from RedCLARA, Internet Advanced Network of CLARA.
The groups of researchers that accept this invitation and are eligible to meet the requirements given below may receive the following CLARA support in the context of the ALICE2 project: The research groups that ask CLARA for these facilities and who meet the eligibility requirements, may invite researchers from the European Community and other countries integrated through Internet Advanced Networks, to join them. Applications should follow the guidelines listed below. Research groups must belong to one of the research areas listed below: • Health
Eligibility requirements are: The invitation to apply for this support program begins with this publication and became effective in 2010. APPLICATION GUIDELINES Applications should be made through a letter addressed to CLARA Management of Academic Relations (benjamín.marticorena @ redclara.net) with a copy to the General Academic Coordination (ana-cecilia.osorio @ redclara.net) presenting the program that is requested to be supported by CLARA. Must be specify the required support within those presented in the introductory part of this call and must be annexed to the letter, the relevant information and documentation on the background and motivations of the research group and its overall work program as well as the face meeting specific program that seeks the support of CLARA, program that should contain a section devoted to the promotion of networking using the services of CLARA and the use made of RedCLARA, Advanced Internet Network. |
