Becas SeCyTThis program is aimed at obtaining a doctorate degree in any of the careers at the National University of Cordoba and consist of a monthly stipend, health and accidents insurance and cover the registration fees in the respective PhD career. The deadline for applications submission is April 30, 2011.

The Ministry of Science and Technology (SeCyT) of Argentina opened the calls to all grants awarded by the institution which includes PhD Scholarships for Foreign Students in order to cooperate in human resource training at postgraduate level to areas of vacancies in Latin American countries, especially those with a delayed scientific capacity.

Scholarships are awarded only to obtain a PhD in one of the Careers of Doctorate of the University of Córdoba, which should effectively be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation, CONEAU.

The duration of the scholarship shall be twelve (12) months with a full-time (45 hours per week) dedication and may be renewed on an annual basis, with the assent of the Advisory Committees of the SECyT-UNC, to complete a maximum cumulative period of scholarship of five years.

In addition, scholarships will be incompatible with any other type of professional occupation or work in the public or private dependencies and shall consist of a monthly stipend, health insurance, insurance against accidents at work and coverage Registration fees in the respective doctoral career.
