Representatives of more than two hundred universities and research centers in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, will attend the CELAC-EU Academic Summit, to be held in Chile on January 22 and 23, 2013.

The main goal of the event is to make an ACADEMIC SUMMIT OF LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN-EUROPEAN UNION, on the occasion of the First Summit of CELAC-EU Heads of State and Government, in Santiago, Chile, to discuss current and future cooperation in European-Latin American higher education and in science, research, technology and innovation, and make proposals to the development of EU-LAC Strategic Partnership.
